Kris Dunham is a freelance illustrator and starting drawing, creating and illustrating at a very young age.
She studied Graphic Design and Illustration at the Rochester Institute of Technology. While illustration has always been her passion, she also loves children and spent three years teaching Elementary Art. Being around kids all day really sparked her creativity.
She's also spent two years traveling and sketching in Europe.
After teaching and traveling, Kris decided to settle down in her new home with her husband and two cats, start a family and focus on illustration.
Kris has self-published a children's alphabet book and an art calendar and hopes to illustrate many more children's books and someday see her artwork in children's rooms around the country!
As an illustrator, Kris enjoys working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and loves the unpredictability of watercolor but is always excited to try new media and techniques.
